I chose a career in medicine because it allows me to use my interests in science and research analysis and my strengths in relationship building to serve the people in my community. I hope to provide patient care that empowers my patients to make the best decisions for their health through shared decision-making by providing education and counseling in the context of cultural humility. My special interests include chronic disease management, underserved and procedural care. In my time outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, board games, dancing, and spending time outdoors by large bodies of water.
