Ms. Diaa is the School Director at the Duke Street KinderCare. She is the mother of four beautiful children. She has served the United States Army before eventually becoming a KinderCare Education employee in 2001. Ms. Diaa started her journey with KinderCare as an Infant teacher, worked in all classrooms and became an Assistant Director in 2007. She was promoted to the Director position in 2009. She feels she is very fortunate to be part of the Duke St. KinderCare. She loves to walk in the school every morning and see all the beautiful smiles on the children's faces.<br /> <br /> She loves her job because it gives her an opportunity to make an impact on a child's life and to give advice to parents about ways in which their child(ren) can develop and grow. Her passion is to uplift, inspire, and encourage parents, as well as my team to create endless learning experiences for children here at her center.
<p><!--block-->Ms. Latesha has been in the education field for over 15 years. She is so passionate that she also continues to educate herself in the field. Latesha has worked in a variety of early childhood programs. She brings her wealth of knowledge and experience to KinderCare. She loves the opportunity to build a strong foundation and loving environment for every family, child and staff member.</p>
Ms. Tammy started with the company in September 08, 1997 and been with company for eighteen and a half years as a teacher. While there she has held several additional duties along with her current job as a program coordinator and other duties such as Health and Safety Coordinator 210- present, Staff Trainer 2005- 2006. But not limited to filling in other positions when needed as Office Assistant, Kitchen staff when needed. Her current position is that of Program Specialist is to be actively engaged with staff to ensure that they are promoting and performing all duties that our program offers. Through trainings and observation, to insure that quality of service is accomplished in our classrooms.<br /> She has obtained many certifications over the years while employed there such as Orientation to Child Care: Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Playgrounds Safety, Creating a Cultures of Family Engagement, CPR, First Aid & Basic School Age Training.<br /> Ms. Tammy has received her Associate in Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education at Durham Technical Community College in Durham, North Carolina in May 2014. In 1996 she worked for Lenoir County Public School Systems; she worked as a substitute teacher for grades 6-8th. There she obtained a certification in Effective Teacher Training to teach grades K-12.<br /> Ms. Tammy is an asset to KinderCare!
Ms. Lisa is originally from Durham, NC and has lived here all her life. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, swimming and reading. From an early age she has known she wanted to work with children. Ms. Lisa babysat as a teen and after high school. She has worked in child care during the day and got her Associate's degree at night. Ms. Lisa likes seeing all of the friendly staff and the smiling face that comes from the children and watching the children learn and grow! She has work at KinderCare since 1988.<br />
<p><!--block-->Ms. Danielle was born and raised in Southern CA and moved to NC in Feb. 2015 to join KinderCare team. She studied Music & Theater at Cal State Fullorton until she decided to change her major to Early Childhood Education. As a former military wife, she brings a wide range experience as she has had the opportunity to live in various parts of the country and World. Ms. Danielle's loves to sing, dance and be creative which brings a wonderful unique experience to our Infant room.</p>
